OntheNet is delighted to announce that as of the 5th of October 2022, we have entered into an agreement to be acquired by Vonex Limited, one of the fastest growing ASX listed telecommunications companies in Australia in a decade.
The decision to be acquired by Vonex Limited has not been taken lightly by the Directors. We carefully considered many things and made the decision based on the following:
- No Customer Impact – OntheNet and Vonex’s skillsets complement each other. While OntheNet is strong on data, Vonex is strong on voice and mobile. The two make a stronger team together than separately. There will be no migration of OntheNet customers to another network. Vonex will start to utilise the extensive OntheNet network, enhance it, and migrate the Vonex customers across over time. There will be no impact on the OntheNet customers. Instead, coverage and network capacity will increase. Customers will also continue to be billed by OntheNet.
- No Staff Impact– the team at OntheNet will remain and will continue to serve you, including myself. For those members of our team who have been here for over 20 years, this is our life’s work. We are staying on to ensure our customers continue to experience the same service we have provided for 28 years.
- Increased Capacity & Services– Vonex has specialised in business solutions for over a decade. With Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide offices, you can expect national support and an increased product range to keep your business connected wherever you go; however, you grow.
You can learn more about Vonex at vonex.com.au, and we look forward to getting in touch in the following weeks as this acquisition completes.
On behalf of the four founders at OntheNet, and our staff, we would like to thank you for your support and look forward to many more years of providing the service you expect from us.
